David leads several research themes at the UCLH National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, and the UCL Institute of Neurology. He is a UCL Reader in Neurosurgery, and has published several peer-reviewed papers in prestigious journals.

  • Study of the outcome of surgery for spinal metastases - an international prospective cohort study

  • Outcome and quality of life after anterior skull base surgery

  • Cellular therapies for the repair of spinal cord and nerve root injuries

  • Human Olfactory Ensheathing cells, and Good Manufacturing Practice for cell culture
